Several weeks ago when Barak Obama spoke at the commencement at Notre Dame University, he did touch on the “abortion controversy.” He called for “open hearts, open minds, fair-minded words.” He did admit that the views on both sides of the issue “are irreconcilable,” but then he appealed to the liberal mindset’s main weapon; dialogue. He said, “When we do that — when we open our hearts and our minds to those who might not think precisely like we do or precisely what we believe — that’s when we discover at least the possibility of common ground,” What is he saying? He is saying that when we “dialogue” with those who desire to give and protect the right to a woman to murder her unborn baby as a matter of choice we should be open-minded about it, looking for common ground.
