Charles Spurgeon Quote

“It is an unfortunate thing for the Christian to become melancholy. If there is any man in the world that has a right to have a bright, clear face and a flashing eye, it is the man whose sins are forgiven him, who is saved with God’s salvation.”

  1. I have often wondered how professing Christians can wear long faces day after day. The joy that Christ gave us springs from our new status in Christ. That joy is untampered with by the cares of this life. We may occasionally yield to pressure if we take our eyes of Jesus; but we should be a habitually joyful people!

  2. Thanks, this one sure is easy on the eyes. I like it because I can edit a post from the page without having to go to the Dashboard. This sure saves me a lot of time. Enjoy!
