Pictures from my Trip to Oklahoma

Some have asked to see the pictures I took while in Oklahoma last weekend. It rained the whole time we were there so I didn’t get to hike to some of the places I wanted. Here are the pictures I was able to take however. By-the-way, some of the pictures will have some white spheres seemingly floating through. These are raindrops caught by my flash. Raindrops are spheres.

  1. Your pics are lovely. I can smell the wet forest and hear the running brooks. It reminds me of a part of South Africa called Mpumalanga (old name was Eastern Transvaal) it is very forested and mountainous and goes on for miles. It is a joy to go there and escape the city. It also has a lot of weather like your weather this weekend.

    Thanks for sharing 🙂
    Bless you

  2. What a gorgeous spread of pictures you have there! And I must say, Praise the Lord for breaking the drought that had been strangling the south-central U.S.! I live in Texas, and the lack of rain was beginning to put a major hurt on everyone here. So seeing all the lush, rain-spattered greenery–both in your pictures AND right outside my window–is a real balm for the eyes!

If you like hiking, I highly recommend checking out Enchanted Rock. It’s just a few miles from where I live, and the climb to the top is very rewarding.

  3. Denita,

I know what you are talking about. Easter weekend we were driving down to central Oklahoma to visit family and got caught up in all those wildfires. It was so dry, hot, and windy that the fires became huge and unstoppable. Now, it is all green and wet. God is good.

    In Christ

  4. Beautiful shots! Praise Jesus.
    My favorite is #111.
    ‘love 119, 101, 32, 9, 90!

“For the beauty of the earth,
for the glory of the skies,
for the love which from our birth
    over and around us lies;
Lord of all, to thee we raise
this our hymn of grateful praise.”

    Thanks for sharing, brother Mike.

  5. Beeeeeeeuuuuuutiful! Wouldn’t you like to have a home right in the middle of all that!! Maybe Heaven will be something like that?? 🙂

  6. I thank the Lord that this is perishing! Praise the Lord my God that has imputed His righteousness upon us.
    In Christ,
By the way, Blessed is the person that the Lord has blessed them with His righteousness! For He has died for all of our sins..I will always thank the Lord, my God, that He shed his blood on our behalf. For none of us are worthy of what He has done for us.
